Hey, I am Arielle. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. I have been in the mental health field for five years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am currently earning my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision.

Your goals are important to me! I have experience treating adults who suffer from a variety of mental health challenges. I take a person-centered approach to therapy which means you are treated as a person first. I focus on the strengths, not the condition or disability. I want you to achieve your therapeutic aspirations, which is why my approach is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

I use techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Journaling, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.

What I love most about being a mental health professional is seeing people transform from day one until they finish their treatment. Witnessing the healing taking place is why I got into this field. One of the most exciting things I've learned as a mental health professional is that you can rise up from anything! Let's work together to maximize your well-being.

Owner

I talk to people everyday who are facing difficult challenges in life, both past and present. If this is you, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and work together to create a plan for therapy that will lead to feeling better and to the resolution of your past difficulties. I offer individual and family therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. I specialize in EMDR Therapy, the integration of spirituality and psychology, and those touched by the circle of adoption. In addition, I am a Neurofeedback practitioner.

Treating trauma is my specialty both for children and adults. I often use EMDR therapy, which I have found to work very well for many clients and it is a research based therapy. Currently, I am an approved consultant and trainer in EMDR Therapy. I also offer Alpha-Stim treatment.

I specialize in working with those who have been touched by the circle of adoption, including individuals who have been adopted, adoptive families, and birth families. Each of these groups require specific knowledge and treatment to obtain effective results. In addition, I periodically offer groups for adoptive moms.
